Our Quality Services

  • Concrete Surface Preparation

Diamond tool surface preparation is crucial for Epoxy Coatings because it creates a clean, profiled concrete surface, enhancing adhesion and ensuring long-lasting durability. By removing contaminants and creating a porous, rough texture, diamond grinding prepares the surface for a reliable bond allowing the epoxy coating to penetrate into the substrate.

  • Crack Repair

Repairing concrete cracks is another crucial step in surface prepping that should never be ignored. A stable repaired surface allows the epoxy to bond more effectively with the concrete, reducing the risk of bubbling, peeling, cracking or water intrusion.

  • Epoxy with Decorative Flake/Chip

This popular floor coating is a 3-layer customizable system that consists of a pigmented industrial grade epoxy base coat, with a decorative flake/chip broadcast and a clear polyaspartic topcoat. Also available with decorative quartz sand.

  • Polyaspartic with Decorative Flake/Chip

This system is popular for outdoor applications because of polyaspartic's outstanding UV stability. This coating is 4-layer customizable system that consists of a moisture vapor barrier primer coat, a pigmented polyaspartic base coat, decorative flake/chip broadcast and a clear polyaspartic topcoat. Also available with decorative quartz sand.

Frequently asked questions

Question

Will you empty my garage for me?

Unfortunately, we do not provide an emptying or removal service. We do require that you remove all loose items from the floor prior to your scheduled project day. Any delays can result in a reschedule of your project. Items on walls and shelves can usually be left in place, we can protect them with plastic sheeting or tarps.

Question

How long do I wait before parking my vehicle on my new epoxy floor?

It's generally recommended to wait at least 72 hours (some manufacturers suggest waiting a week) before parking a vehicle on a freshly epoxy garage floor. This allows the epoxy to fully cure and harden, preventing potential damage from tire marks or vehicle weight. Light Foot Traffic: You can usually walk on an epoxy floor within 12-24 hours. Heavy Foot Traffic & Moving Objects: After 24-48 hours, you can move heavier items like furniture onto the floor.

Question

Why should I hire a professional epoxy installer over installing a DIY kit myself?

While DIY kits can be a cost-effective option, professional installers ensure a more durable, aesthetically pleasing and robust finish. Most pros use high solids, industrial grade epoxy resins, while DIY kits use cheaper water-based products. Even more importantly, professionals use industrial strength, diamond tooled grinders and shot blasters to prepare the concrete surface ensuring optimal adhesion. DIY kits only recommend an acid wash to etch the surface, which commonly result in peeling and chipping within a short period of time.
